Really pleasant meal Visited with my family on a Saturday night. We all cleared our plates. I really enjoyed the Madami Chicken, very sweet. The portions were sensible and fairly priced too. We left feeling full without overdoing it like is often the case at Indian takeaways! It was very quiet but they mostly do takeaways. That's also reflected by the size of the place and the limited bar. The service was fantastic.

We had a birthday party on this restaurant today. The restaurant owner and others organised and decorated atmosphere as parfect party. We tried different kinds of delicious foods. I strongly recommend Chicken tikka masala. Service and atmosphere were also appreciated

I have been using Jol Sager for over 4 years and have never had a reason to complain. The food is absolutely stunning and in my opinion very well priced, also delivery is very quick. Keep up the good work and sorry I never left the review earlier.

Deciding what to eat is always a challenge for our family and being New Years Day we needed to spice it up, wow this is the place to come, service, food and the way we were treated was absolutely 1st class and would highly recommend.

Now under new management with top chefs everything out off the tandoori oven is cooked well and marinated to perfection. I have eaten inside the restaurant and had a delivery the taste is just the same. I had a chicken madras when i ate in and a lamb madras witch i had delivered so soft the meat was. Everyone local please give it a go you will not be disappointed. Its been decorated and modernised which it needed. And the owner is as good as gold. As the potential to be a top Indian restaurant that it once was 15 years ago.

Had the pleasure of dining here recently with a friend. Our chosen starters consisted of papadums, which were served with an assortment of delicious complimentary chutneys. The Chicken Korma, Lamb Bhuna, Chicken Tikka, Pilau Rice and Naans were all cooked beautifully and full of flavour. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend 👌

This takeaway is the best Bangladeshi food in London! I had a chicken korma, rice and naan; everything was super fresh, tasty and delicious. All for an amazing price. Couldn’t recommend any more if you love a sweet chicken korma :)

This is the best indian food I have ever had. We have gotten Jol sagar many many times on Deliveroo and it never disappoints. We have tried many dishes and they are all so delicious, and even tastier the next day!

We come here regularly with our little daughter. This is one of our favourite local restaurants. Very nice staff, always welcoming. My favourite is the Vegetarian Balti, try it, its really nice!

Restaurant was a bit small but the great food and friendly,helpful staff made the whole experience one I would definitely repeat. Me and my family had a wonderful evening here. Nothing was too much for the staff. They catered to our every need.

So I am about the write the review but I thought I would read some of the comments to see what others think of the place. Not sure what to say to be honest Anyways came for the first time and greeted nicely. After some research found out that the owner has had this restaurant for over 35 years. It has had a good following by some celebrities such as Danny Dyer and the gentleman who was in the long time TV shows such as minder,professionals and stars from Eastenders have been here too. Order the food. Came right on time started with the chicken tikka. Very moist and succulent. The poppadoms were made extra crispy by flaming it on top of the gas to give extra texture. The mains were worth the wait too. Shame I couldnt take the pictures to add here. The slight negative is the decor which looks somewhat outdated. However the better positive is outdoor seating area especially in this weather.

Second time myself hubby and our baby son attended. A very warm welcome from the elderly staff. They really paid attention to detail if we needed anything which exceeded my expectations - great customer service. Moreover, their Lamb bhuna was very nice bit mild as we expected so in advance we asked them to add a kick of spice that was spot on. I loved their Pilao and chapattis too that was soft and fluffy. I definitely will be visiting again. One advice though a baby sear would be ideal and child friendly but nonetheless we enjoyed the experience.

Very nice staff - when I came to pick up my food but was unable to carry everything, they gave me a lift free of charge and still gave me the 15% discount for pickup. Also the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. Would recommend

Went in for lovely evening meal with my dad and nan and as always we were warmly welcomed and taken care of. Food was tasty we even took some extras home! Whenever they visit they only want to go here! Lovely Local Indian restaurant highly recommended. Thank you!

Best Indian this side of Newham. Good size of chicken pieces, perfectly spiced and seriously tasty. Generous with the curry ingredients. Keep the chef. My new go to place
